After quite a successful morning, the afternoon was a disappointment. We arrived late afternoon at Campos de Arriero and the whole site was in heavy shade, not a good start. This was undoubtedly a morning site.
A pair of White Wagtails were tending to a nest in the roof of the hide but the harsh shade proved to be a problem so low key photography was the only possibility.

As the evening moved on, the light improved - Nuthatch

and a Great Spotted Woodpecker made several appearances

A pair of Redstarts were providing food for the nest located just to the right of the hide

and finally, a White Wagtail in the better light.

So, not a lot to show for 3 hours in the hide.
